A photograph is not merely freezing a moment in time, but a tool... to take the viewer to a different place, and a different time to which the photographer was whilst making the photograph.
I started shooting at the age of 15 (2005), my first camera was a Yashica; a point and shoot that I used for years to come. I never really understood at the time what a photograph was nor did I understand the importance of it. With experience I have grown, fror clicking a photograph to creating one. To begin with I shot everything in my way from nature to architecture. I stored every photograph. Now, I shoot an object or place over and over, in different seasons, making notes, looking for the perfect light, before taking a final shot with which I would be satisfied.
My style of shooting has not changed much over the years; besides the fact that I now know more than I did back then and have upgraded to a bigger camera, now owning a full frame SLR. My photographs are mostly about Life on earth and everything that revolves around it, besides us humans; Landscape, Architecture and Monochromatic being my favourite genre's. As a photographer I want to tell a story through my work about a place, object or people.
I do hope you will enjoy and appreciate my work ... critique and feedback is welcome, thank you!
